Senior citizen care
We granted permission from the women and children welfare department for the purpose of issuing senior citizen identification card at Somwarpet and in this connection we visited every house, found the senior citizens and conducted blood group, BP and sugar test and issued senior citizen identification card for around 3680 members.
We found very poor senior citizen and sanctioned monthly pensions. Day time welfare center was commenced in the limit of 9 km surrounding of Shanivarsanthe.
MR Students service
With the help of the organization, staff surveyed MR childrens near by Somavarpet, Virajpet and Madikeri. We also issued ID’s for childrens and conducted awareness programme in kodagu, mysuru and mandya district.
Pharmacy Support
The association has been conducting regular health check up and apart from this cancer and aids detection camp was organized. Even our self-help Mahila mandali and youth association members were involved to take participation in the Programme.
This Programme was taken up with the co-operation and support of primary health department, Government of Karnataka, which motivated all the families through jatha and house to house visits.
Materials to handicap
All handicap group and awareness programme was conducted for the rural people to train and facilitate from self help groups and initiate the saving habits amog themselves to build the common fund for income enervation activities an dto improve their socio-economic condition.
Materials were provided to needy handicap persons to encourage them in Social activities that helps them to Choose their own activity .
